Our Story.
Studio Sadrsya is an architecture and design practice founded in Ahmedabad in 2024 by Harshit Laddha, Shivani Dhurkunde, and Akhilesh Dhurkunde.
Our work is grounded in a simple belief: architecture should reveal the essence of a place rather than impose a predetermined style upon it. We look closely at context, climate, culture, material, and the everyday lives that a space will hold.

Our Philosophy.
We believe architecture is experienced before it is understood.
A building is not only its walls, roof, structure or material. It is the sequence of spaces one moves through, the changing quality of light, the sound of a courtyard, the texture under the hand, the view that appears unexpectedly, and the moments of pause between one space and another.
Our interest lies in this internal experience of architecture the way space shapes perception and how perception, in turn, gives meaning to space.
We do not begin with a predetermined style. We begin by observing: the site, climate, material, culture and the people who will inhabit the space. Through research, drawing, making and continual refinement, these observations are translated into an architecture that is specific to its context.
We seek spaces that are quiet but not empty, simple but not reductive, and contemporary without losing their connection to where they belong.
For us, architecture finds its essence not in the object itself, but in the experience it creates.
People Behind Sādṛśya
Designers, thinkers,
and makers.
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Sadrsya comes from the Sanskrit word sādṛśya, meaning true resemblance or the expression of essence. For us, it describes a way of seeing and making: to uncover what is already present in a place, then give it form through thoughtful design
